Proletariat produce

The Soviet Union had excellent literacy programs. Their subjects needed to read proficiently in order to understand the propaganda posters on their way to the wall before being shot. Another page from a Soviet era booklet that was found in a thrift store in Springdale, Arkansas.

Ronnie Talk To Russia…

Found this Soviet era booklet in a thrift market in Springdale, Arkansas recently. There was a large collection of books and materials on mathematics, engineering and botany all from Russian. Most were pretty boring but a couple had some nice illustrations in them. Along with photographs, I collect anything with illustrations, graphics or photography. I’ll be scanning a few in the future and posting them here.

Stand By Your Man…

He certainly looks like a feller you wouldn’t wanna cross. This is an 8×10….yes, an 8×10. How could I not pick this up? The only thing that could make this “treasure-of-a-find” any better would be a gold foiled Olan Mills stamp on it. But, I guess we can’t have everything. Found and quickly purchased in a thrift store in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
